The Family Project

Luke One Thirty Seven Studios is excited to announce the launch of The Family Project, an initiative dedicated to promoting adoption.

The Bible says in James 1:27, "Pure and undefiled religion in the sight of our God and Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." All throughout the word of God, we find that the welfare of orphans is near and dear to the heart of God. There is a directive given in Proverbs 31:8-9: "Open your mouth for the mute, for the rights of all the unfortunate. Open your mouth, judge righteously, and defend the rights of the afflicted and needy."

Luke One Thirty Seven Studios is seeking to obey that command and to care for orphans by shining a light on orphans and their need for a family through The Family Project.

The first project as a part of this initiative is a short film titled All I Want for Christmas, which highlights orphans' need for a family all through the year, but with a focus on the Christmas holidays.

The film is currently in preproduction and the tentative film completion date is, Lord willing, January 31, 2011. For short, periodic updates and project prayer requests, please visit the AIWFC Blog, found on the tab bar at the top of this page.
