Update
All I Want for Christmas is scheduled to be screened on 3/5/11, with the high school films, at the Envision Film Festival.
Prayer Requests
1. Please pray for those who will view the film when it is shown. Pray that they would be open to the message and challenge of adoption. Pray that the message would penetrate deeper than just, "Oh, I wish we could do something to help,". Pray that it would get deep enough that people would end up saying, "We're going to do something to help!"
2. Please pray that God would be glorified through the film.

Update
We made the deadline. Praise God!
Answered Prayers/Praises
1. We made it!
2. God did provide wisdom, good time management, and skills to complete the project.
3. God worked so many things out in order to make this film possible. Just to give an example, part of the soundtrack is a song that was written by a family member 29 years ago and it fits the film perfectly.
Requests
1. Please pray for the impact the film will have on the audiences who view it.
2. Please pray for the fine-tuning of the film, as there are a few details still to be attended to.

Update
We are coming down the home stretch, with the deadline tomorrow. The editing is close to completion, but still has a little ways to go. Also, the vocals for one of the songs still have yet to be recorded.
Requests
1. Please pray that God would provide the wisdom, good time management, and skills necessary to complete the film.
2. Please pray that we would be able to finish in time for the Jan. 31 deadline.
I didn't forget the answered prayer/praise section, but, as time is of the essence, I will update you on that sometime after 6:30 tomorrow night.

Update
In the wee hours of Saturday morning, we finished shooting the main section of the film. God brought together a cast and crew that were able to work together very well and the shoot was relatively low stress.
This evening, we shot the final video for the opening credits.
In the next week, we will be editing all of the video, audio, and still shots.
Answered Prayers
1. The remaining speaking part was filled and the part executed very well during the shoot.
2. The cast and crew's schedules worked out to enable shooting.
3. The shoot went off extremely well.
Prayer Requests
1. Please pray for the continued recording of the music and vocals.
2. Please pray that we would be able to make our our production deadline of Jan. 31.
3. Please pray for the editing process. The editor will be doing some parts of the editing process for the first time.

Today, we are working on scheduling for the shooting later this week. This evening, we will be working on completing the set for the film - Lord willing, of course.

3. God has provided two excellent choices for the speaking part.

Update
Today, we are finalizing the script and recording the musical accompaniment for the film's two short songs. This coming week, we plan to record vocals for the songs, create the storyboard, and begin auditions for one of the speaking parts.

1. Please pray for wisdom as we finalize the dialogue and finish formatting the script.
2. Please pray for the musical recording to go smoothly and quickly.
